March Luncheon!

It’s still cold but we are already thinking about March Luncheon!

Oh the Places You’ll Go is our luncheon theme this month. Join us on Wednesday, March 15, 2022 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Lock & Dam Dining Room. We’ve moved again, seriously, we live somewhere new. How many times have you said this to your family and friends? Join us at this luncheon where we chat and compare all the places we’ve been and are going. The luncheon fee is $25 (processing fee of $1 added for debit and credit cards). The luncheon is open to all current club members; if you aren’t a current club member and you missed the Super Sign-Up in August, fear not you can still join the RIAWC! To join the Welcome Club, simply RSVP to the luncheon and either register online or in person at the luncheon, where you can also join one of our 12 sub-clubs!

2023 Community Support Application !!

Did you know that RIAWC donated $4,650 to local organizations serving service members and families in 2022?

Now we are accepting grant requests until 1 March 2023. 

Any nonprofit organization supporting the welfare of the Armed Forces and their families located in the Rock Island Arsenal area is eligible to apply. Proceeds from the Arsenal Attic thrift shop and RIAWC events generate funding for these grants. We extend a sincere “thank you” to our customers, consignors, and volunteers for making these grants possible to better our community.

You can support us by donating from here, or donating and shopping at arsenal attic thrift shop or shop online with us!

Lunch Club

Lunch Club is set to kick-off in January 2023!

We hope this will be a fun monthly get together, where members can join in for a yummy lunch while meeting, chatting and catching up with others!

The first lunch will be on Thursday, January 12, 2023, 11:30 am at Biaggi’s in Davenport!
